New Music: 5 Seconds Of Summer - Just Saying
The “Good Girls” EP is finally available on iTunes! Australian pop/rock/ pop punk band 5 Seconds of Summer have picked the fast beat rock-ish track “Good Girls” as the newest single from their self-titled debut album and alongside the radio adds they’re releasing a special EP treat for their millions of fans on iTunes. The “Good Girls” EP – released on November 14th, 2014 – includes four tracks in total; the original and a live version of “Good Girls”, an acoustic version of “Long Way Home” AND a brand new track titled “Just Saying”.
“Just Saying” song review
“You’ve got a boyfriend and he’s a total loser”, sings Luke in the first two lines of “Just Saying”. The track is very pop punk and fits in well with the rest of the released music from the band. The track’s story is about a boy who wants to be with a girl but the girl is already dating someone. However, the boy knows he’s better than the official boyfriend and he will bash him really bad until the girl realizes she should ditch him and get with him – the cooler boy.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Good Girls music video here at In Bloom Music, and absolutely loved the resemblance to Blink-182’s ‘Feeling This’ video. It shows that the 5SOS boys really have been truly inspired by the bands they love.
